Concept Search
Develop:
1. Site analysis drawing(s) showing building area (footprint), existing structures, vegetation, views, sun exposure, wind exposure, context, grades, water management, utilities, setbacks, pedestrian access, vehicular access, parking, etc.
Concept Documentation
1. Conceptual study models (On the site model) for each idea/strategy. Use simple materials, found objects, crumpled paper, wire, cardboard, etc. These should be done quickly but convey possibilities for each strategy.
2. Building Parti diagrams/conceptual diagrams for each.
Peer Review (Design team, selected participants)
1. Present all relevant information to peer group:
· Project team
· Project budget and schedule
· Critical success factors
· Program
· Site analysis
·Etc.
Concept Development
1. Build multiple study models for the three schemes (on the site model) These should be done quickly.
2. Develop sketches, diagrams, plans
